Experience Through Their Eyes

Its so sad that a local business like this doesnt get the people it should. I wanted to watch the Army/Navy game (one of the most popular games in the country) & went to Buff wild wings that place was dirty w/napkins on the floor no one greeted me and didnt have the game so i left. Then to texas roadhouse watching the bartender try to work a remote was pathetic and hilarious at the same time. Needless to say the remote was smarter than her and she couldnt figure out how to put on cbs. So i came to this place cuz it looked like the "local" place. The (part)owner, put the game on for me and talked to me a few times, it was the way a hometown grill/bar/ restaurant should be. I had the blackened catfish and it was exactly what i wanted. I'm older now and cant do extremely spicy food anymore and the catfish on the jambalaya was perfect... for me. And the local beer was good too, tasted kinda like a blue moon

If I was a local to West Monroe this would be one of my favorite spots. I've only been a couple times while working in the area, but each time was a great experience. On this visit I had an Underdog with jalapenos, onions, and mustard, and it was amazing. My co-worker ate his plain and loved it, and we both had sweet potato tots, which we enjoyed. I had sliders and a burger on my first visit and that was also great. Looking forward to returning next time I work in the area and I recommend others to stop in.

I really enjoyed my time here. Great service with fresh food, though we were the only table in a Friday evening, worked for me, though. I'm not sure if this is the family business but we learned that our server daughter worked there too which I love. There are a lot of TVs and seating so I recommend coming here to watch a game there. I tried the queso and enjoyed it, it was served with house potato chips instead of tortilla chips, but that also worked for me since they had a nice crunch. I tried the well cocktail for happy hour ($5) and got a cosmo and it was okay, but the domestic beers ($3) are worthy of getting a refill. The best thing I had here was the David and Goliath Po-boy and it so delicious. Come try it if you live too far from New Orleans! The only thing I would probably change was the size of the po-boy since it was maybe 6 ins or so. I thought it wasn't going to be enough, but after a couple of appetizers I was full. Highly recommend!

The staff is very attentive, the atmosphere is family friendly, lots of televisions, one had cartoons, and the food is great, the portions are large. The prices are affordable. The burger comes with the salad on the side. It had seasoned crawfish tails and cheese on top of the patty. You will need a carry out box.
